Partners
Partnership is at the heart of the Fund's mission and its success.
The Fund frequently works through a local support group ("friends" group, conservancy, or association) to capitalize on the already existing productive working relationship with the park. The Fund also seeks to increase the effectiveness of small park support groups by offering a wide range of resources, including free consulting services and giving them the opportunity to leverage project success.
76% of our project grants have gone to these local park support groups: |
The Fund for People in Parks' support of these types of projects helps to improve the overall visitor experience and build the critical infrastructure needed for the park's next 100 years."
