Mission

The Fund for People in Parks provides private funding and professional services to complete inspirational projects that enhance the visitor experience in western National Parks.

What We Do

We support dynamic and creative park leadership. As federal agency budgets tighten, many excellent park experience improvement projects have little hope of being completed. The Fund provides a direct conduit that allows efficient private support to bring the best of these worthy projects to fruition.

In addition to providing critical direct grants, the Fund helps local support groups leverage their fundraising capacity, improve organizational planning and practice, and strengthen their ability to support the park. The Fund's services streamline project execution and reduce costs. We expand our partners' capabilities by providing access to a broad range of expert professional consultants, including filmmakers, graphic designers, development consultants, business advisors, and more.
